The home sales statistics compare real estate housing sold in Grand Traverse County from January 1, 2016 through March 31, 2016 to the same time period in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. This includes the townships of Acme, Blair, East Bay, Fife Lake, Garfield, Grant, Green Lake, Long Lake, Mayfield, Paradise, Peninsula, Union, Whitewater, and the City of Traverse City.
So far in 2016 Grand Traverse County Home Sales Volume has increased +23.10% over 2015's record setting figures. Average sales price is up +8.60% while Median Sales price is up +9.82%. Total number of units sold has increased 13.35%. For the 3rd year in a row there remains low home inventory, especially in the downtown Traverse City Area.
