The home sales statistics compare real estate housing sold in Grand Traverse County from January 1, 2016 through June 30, 2016 to the same time period in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. This includes the townships of Acme, Blair, East Bay, Fife Lake, Garfield, Grant, Green Lake, Long Lake, Mayfield, Paradise, Peninsula, Union, Whitewater, and the City of Traverse City.
So far in 2016 Grand Traverse County Average Sales price is up +6.41%, Median Sales price has increased +9.26%, Home Sales Volume has increase +10.97%, and total number of units sold has increased +4.28% over this point last year. For the 3rd year in a row there remains low home inventory, especially in the downtown Traverse City Area.
