In the early 1980s, Vicky and Mike Oltersdorf visited friends in Traverse City and spent a summer day boating on West Grand Traverse Bay. That day changed everything. They made the bold decision to leave established careers in Ann Arbor and relocate their young family to Suttons Bay—before lining up new jobs. It was a leap of faith fueled by a love for Leelanau County’s shoreline, small towns, and unmatched lifestyle. They’ve never looked back.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Vicky built a 25+ year career as a Realtor® with nationally recognized brokerages in Ann Arbor, Traverse City, and Suttons Bay before founding Oltersdorf Realty in 2006.
