Not only is sales volume up 58.6% in Leelanau County and 17.3% in Grand Traverse County so far in 2012 over 2011(see previous post here: Leelanau County & Grand Traverse County) but single family home supply is on a 3 year downward trend in both Leelanau County and Grand Traverse County (see graphs above). Leelanau County currently has 497 active single family homes for sale down from a high of over 700+ in the summer of 2009. Grand Traverse County (Traverse City) currently has 1,224 active single family homes for sale down from 2,000+ in the summer of 2009.
